Keukenhof 2027: dates, tickets and how to get there from Amsterdam

Updated on October 1, 2026

Keukenhof, in Lisse between Amsterdam and Leiden, is a flower park that only opens in spring. In 2027 it welcomes visitors from Thursday 18 March to Sunday 9 May, every day from 8am to 7pm. Around 7 million bulb flowers bloom here, including more than 800 varieties of tulip, along 15 km of paths and beneath more than 150 varieties of flowering cherry. Around a hundred exhibitors show their work, and some fifty works of art are scattered through the park. Tickets go on sale from 15 October 2026; the official website lists an adult ticket from €21 online and €27 at the gate (prices checked in October 2026).

Highlights

The tulip beds

The bulbs are planted in several layers, so the colours change as the season goes on: hyacinths, daffodils, then tulips. The park publishes a bloom report so you can see what is in flower before you come.

The windmill

The windmill

This historic windmill, open every day during the season, can be visited. From its gallery, the view stretches over the bulb fields around the park.

Around Keukenhof, growers in the bulb region (Bollenstreek) plant strips of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths in different colours. When they bloom depends on each year's weather.

The Willem-Alexander Pavilion and the historical garden

The Willem-Alexander Pavilion hosts flower and plant shows throughout the season. In the walled historical garden, you can see old tulip varieties grown for several centuries.

Tips

Buy your tickets online: it is cheaper than at the gate, and each ticket is valid for a fixed date and arrival time. Prices vary by day; at the gate an adult pays €27 and a child aged 4 to 17 pays €15, against €11 online; free up to age 3 (prices checked in October 2026). Watch out for fake ticket sites: the only official website is keukenhof.nl. Combi tickets covering entry and public transport are available; their 2027 price will be published later. By car, parking costs €10 online and €15 on site; it is free for bicycles and motorbikes. For several visits, a season pass, the Lentepas, gives access to the park from 8am to 6:15pm throughout the opening period.
