The permanent show "Our Colonial Inheritance" tells the story of the Dutch colonial legacy. For children from 6, the interactive exhibition Raad van de Raaf is in Dutch and is booked on the museum's site.
Our pick
- One adult, a fixed day: the museum's online ticket or the Tiqets ticket, at about the same price.
- Uncertain dates: the ticket at the desk, EUR 2 more, no commitment.
- You hold a Museumkaart: pay nothing.
Check the city before buying: Leiden and Rotterdam also have a Wereldmuseum. Hours: closed on Monday except during school holidays; closed on 1 January, 27 April and 25 December. Linnaeusstraat has roadworks until the end of 2027: tram 14 to the Mauritskade stop remains the most direct, but check your route before leaving.
