Where to stay depending on your RAI visit
| Profile | Where to stay | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Delegate in a hurry | Europaplein / RAI station | A few minutes' walk to the convention centre |
| You want an evening out | De Pijp | Restaurants, bars and market 15 minutes away on foot |
| Meetings in Zuidas too | Zuid | Zuid station: trains, metro, Schiphol in 10 minutes |
| Tighter budget | Zuid or De Pijp, on weekdays without a fair | Less demand outside congresses |
The RAI is a large convention centre in the south of the city, at Europaplein. International-chain hotels nearby have standard-sized rooms, often with meeting rooms: compare them on Booking and check the exact distance to the RAI.
Getting to and from the RAI
RAI station is served by local trains; tram 4 links the city centre to the area, and Zuid station, with metro and a direct link to Schiphol, is about fifteen minutes on foot. Check routes and times on the NS and GVB sites on the day you travel. For lines, see getting around Amsterdam and the metro and tram map.
Prices during congresses
Hotel rates in the area depend on the trade-fair calendar: check event dates on the RAI website before booking, because a big fair week can multiply demand. We do not publish room prices: they change every day. Book with free cancellation if you can. For other ideas, see where to stay in De Pijp and business hotels in Zuidas.
