The options compared

Our pick

  • One day, no car: the ticket with a return shuttle. You skip the train, the connecting bus and the queue to buy at the gate. A flexible return (last bus at 18:30) leaves 3 to 4 hours on site, enough for the park.
  • You already have transport: the online ticket alone, EUR 3.50 cheaper than the gate.
  • Families: count the child fare (EUR 10 online); under-4s go in free.

For A'DAM Tower, take the free ferry behind Centraal station to Buiksloterweg, then walk five minutes (see the central station).

When to come

The park is open only about eight weeks a year. The tulip peak is usually mid-April, depending on the weather; weekends and public holidays are busiest. For bloom details see the tulip season, the Keukenhof page and, for the fields and the flower auction, the Aalsmeer flower auction.

What is still uncertain

The official 2027 price was not yet published on the park's site on 25 October 2026: EUR 21.50 and EUR 25 come from resellers. The hours (8:00 to 19:00, last entry 18:15) are those of the official site, checked on 31 October 2026. A 2026 source says bus line 858 from Schiphol did not run in 2026 because of works: if you go on your own, check the route on 9292.nl.
