Where to go on Thursday evening
- Kalverstraat and Nieuwendijk: the big chains, the safest bet to find shops open.
- Leidsestraat: between the Singel and Leidseplein, fashion shops and restaurants for dinner afterwards.
- Nine Streets and Jordaan: small shops with varied hours; many close at 18:00 even on Thursday, check the address.
- Dam: De Bijenkorf and Magna Plaza are in the same area.
