AMAZE Amsterdam: tickets, duration, opening hours and reviews 2026

Updated on October 28, 2026

AMAZE is an immersive walk-through of light, lasers, sound and smoke in a former warehouse in Amsterdam's western harbour (Elementenstraat 25), created by the team at ID&T, behind festivals such as Mysteryland and Defqon.1. Expect about 75 minutes of show across 8 rooms, or 1 to 2 hours including the cocktail lounge. The adult ticket (18+) costs €27, the youth ticket (10 to 17) €14, and the duo ticket €49 for two. It is recommended from age 10 and not suitable for people with epilepsy. Information collected on 26 October 2026 from reseller pages and guides, as the official site could not be reached: confirm prices and hours before booking.

Highlights

A walk from room to room

A walk from room to room

8 interactive rooms mixing lasers, projections, light, smoke and sound; the pace moves from intense moments to calmer ones. Two sound-intensity levels are offered. One small, intimate room admits only 6 people per time slot.

The lounge after the show

The visit ends in a cocktail lounge; allow a little time there if you want to stretch the evening.

A party venue

According to a reseller page, the warehouse hosted some of the city's first underground raves: the spirit is that of a festival, not a museum.

Tips

  • The adult ticket (18+) costs €27, the youth ticket (10 to 17) €14 and the duo ticket €49; an early-bird discount applies when you book 7 days or more ahead (amount shown on the booking page). Combo tickets exist with Fabrique des Lumières (€39) and Our House Museum (€45), to be checked. Is it worth it? Yes if you like festivals, lasers and loud music; no if you want a quiet place or a cultural visit. On GetYourGuide it averages about 4.3 out of 5 over more than 6,400 reviews; the most common complaints are a rushed pace and little guidance between rooms. Strobe lights, lasers, smoke and loud sound can trigger seizures in photosensitive people; children under 10 are not recommended (one reseller bars them, another says all ages: check). Arrive 30 minutes before your slot; lockers are free; the slot can be changed up to 24 hours ahead, with no refund according to one guide. Maximum 8 people per slot. For similar outings: the Museum of Illusions and The Upside Down.
