The standard ticket: online or at the door?

The daytime show runs every day from 11:00, with the last start around 17:45 (it varies by season). The ticket costs €25 at the door; online it starts at €19, a €6 saving. The site says this rate applies on weekdays for a booking made the day before: at weekends or on the same day, the price may be closer to the door rate. Booking online also saves you the queue. Combo with Madame Tussauds

The ticket combined with Madame Tussauds starts at €29 online, whereas the two entries bought separately come to €52 according to the official site, an advertised saving of about 40%. Both attractions are on the Dam and the Rokin, a few minutes apart on foot: it is the best-value ticket if you plan to do both.

Combo with a canal cruise

The cruise combo starts at €37, against €40 for the two bought separately: the saving is small. Note that the cruise slot must be booked in advance with the boat operator, which makes the plan less flexible. To compare boats, see which canal cruise to choose.

The "After Dark" evening (18 and over)

This evening version lasts one hour, is performed only in English and costs €27 per adult. It takes place on a few dates a month, from 20:00 to 23:00 (in October 2026: the 17th, 23rd, 24th and 30th). Under-18s are not admitted. For 31 October, see Halloween in Amsterdam.

  • Online price: this is the main discount, €6 below the door price.
  • Combos: Madame Tussauds is the only really good-value combo.
  • City cards: we could not confirm that the Amsterdam Dungeon is included or discounted with tourist passes; check on the pass website before buying, and read our museum pass comparison.

Age, language and accessibility

The site sets no minimum age for the daytime show, but the scenes are deliberately frightening: young children are not recommended. The After Dark evening is closed to under-18s. The show is performed in English or Dutch. If you are coming with children, see also Amsterdam with children.
